A Coruña Tourism Department carried out an study of the event impact from 6 to 7 July 2019, the “III Bandeira Cidade da Coruña”. Thus, some of the conclusions obtained were:

  • The event is consolidated and has a huge relevance to attract visitors and promote the city.
  • The sponsorship is a well-considered decision and the opinion is a very positive option to the consolidation of the race.
  • Loyal attendance who recommends, repeats and serves to attract new visitors.
  • The event has value by itself and the economic impact is positive.
  • The tourist who travels to the event, travels with the family and spends more than €250 per person.

  • % Visitors who spend the night: + of 86% (+ of 50% of the total).
  • Accommodation: 4* and 5* hotel (36.4%) 3* hotel (16.8%).
  • Estimated attendance: 14,000 people.

  • Average length: + 3 days.
  • Average spend/person: 86.2.
  • 58% stayed last year.
  • 96% will repeat next year.
  • 100% would recommend the event.
